When I started Transcend Coffee six years ago, my life, energy and writing became focused on conversations regarding coffee, and the world that I found myself a part of. Recently, I have had the desire to re-enter the world of political, and social discourse. So I decided to start this blog. I have no aspirations of fame or fortune, just a desire to write, converse and comment on the world that I live in. This blog will not be about coffee (at least not always) but it will be about passion, purpose and the ideas necessary to live a life in such a way that the world is changed, if ever so slightly.
